RICH DICTION: SPEAKING YOUR WAY TO PERFECTION
Rich Diction is a 100% for profit
public speaking training company based in Kampala, with plans of global
expansion. Officially registered in 2019, the team leaders of Rich Diction have
been training as public speakers at a professional level, for close to three
years.
Public speaking is a journey with
different termini. It is a journey we must all take. Even with speech impediments, communication is crucial, necessary and we must learn how to use it effectively.
Public speaking for others is a journey without an end. Learn to speak well. Stop only to learn, to listen, and to rejuvenate. Speak some more. Listen further. Learn always.
At Rich Diction, we believe that
public speaking should be nurtured, and nurtured often. It's erroneously considered a perfectly natural gift for a few speakers. It doesn't matter. Speaking requires practice.
PROFILE OF THE FOUNDER AND TEAM LEADER
Beverley Nambozo Nsengiyunva has always adored the stage and communicating to audiences. With a background of two years as a morning show host at Power FM 104.1 in Kampala, she was propelled into the limelight of speaking. It was not until she joined Toastmasters in 2016, though, that she nurtured her skills as a professional. During her journey at Toastmasters, she attained the highest award, Distinguished Toastmasters, and began connecting with individuals and organisations as a speaking coach, trainer and now an international speaker.
Beverley is an author, poet and founder of the Babishai Niwe Poetry Foundation. From August 2019, she began teaching the Cambridge syllabus specifically English and Literature, at an international school in Kampala, where she also leads the Model United Nations Program (MUN). MUN is a model where secondary students simulate the United Nations through articulation of world issues.
As an experienced mc, public speaker and trainer, she firmly believes that the words we say matter, so we should say them right. Beverley looks forward to training Ugandans and citizens of the world in the art of public speaking and effective communication. She is still learning, because learning never ends.
Currently, Beverley lives in Kampala with her husband and four children.
